With the Old Robin Hood lying in the heart of the Peak District, there always fun activities and events to attend during your stay. Here are a few group activity ideas if you have a large number of people in your party.
Drive 40 minutes west to Buxton and have a fun day out at Go Ape, where they have high ropes, a zip wire and much more!
There are several easy walks from the house, which include visiting the various Halls of Holmesfield. More information can be found in books in the house.
If you're feeling adventurous and want to try something new then the Peak District is the best place to be. You can go hang gliding in Castleton, caving in the UK's highest natural cavern, Titan Cave, or fell running in one the of the many beautiful routes in the area.
Group Activities
The Peak District is also home to some of the most challenging rock climbing routes in Europe, including Stanage Edge which is enjoyed by climbers from all over the world.
